Parsify suddenly stopped evaluating expressions? Or maybe something else stopped functioning correctly? This page should help!

Turn on debug mode

Parsify Desktop suddenly stopped evaluating expressions? Such a behavior is usually related to some issues with the math parser. Go to View → Preferences and click on the Plugins tab. Then insert DEBUG=true into the Configuration field. You may need to restart the app for the changes to apply. Now, the results field should show some error messages, or warnings. If that is not the case, or you do not understand what these errors mean, please contact us.

Browse the logs

Parsify Desktop values your privacy and, hence, does not send any crash logs through the internet. However, it does log many things locally. The log file's location depends on your operating system:
  • macOS: ~/Library/Logs/Parsify Desktop/main.log
  • Windows: %USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Parsify Desktop\logs\main.log
  • Linux: ~/.config/Parsify Desktop/logs/main.log
Please note that logs were not available in earlier versions of Parsify - if you use such a release, we strongly recommend upgrading.
Since version 1.9.0, you can click the Open logs button to easily access the logs - you can find it in the bottom-left corner on the Preferences page.
